Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2025
Acceptance
By using invoicePrivate you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
Description of service
invoicePrivate is a free, browser-based invoice generator. All processing happens locally in your browser. We provide the tool on an "as is" basis with no guarantees of uptime or fitness for a particular purpose.
Your data
You own all invoice data you create. Because data is stored only in your browser, we have no access to it and cannot recover it if you clear your browser storage.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the application
- Use automated tools to generate fraudulent invoices
- Misrepresent your identity or business information in invoices
User responsibility
You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance of all invoices you create. invoicePrivate does not check whether your invoices satisfy the tax or legal requirements of your jurisdiction. Consult a qualified accountant or legal professional if in doubt.
No professional advice
Nothing in this service or its outputs constitutes legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. invoicePrivate is a document generation tool only.
Intellectual property
The invoicePrivate application, including its design, code, and content, is the property of its operators and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Invoice content you create remains entirely yours.
Disclaimer of warranties
invoicePrivate is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees of uptime, accuracy of tax calculations, or fitness for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, invoicePrivate and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including financial loss, data loss, or tax penalties — arising from your use of the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which the operators are established.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of invoicePrivate after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
